Our goal is to safely return to nature and communities an amount of water equivalent to what we use in all of our beverages and their production.

Duque de Caxias

We complement the water supply network in the área.

We adapt the drains of the road route.

We replanted 4,000 trees in the área.

The new Duque de Caxias plant, which began production during 2018, has efficiency in its DNA, a main characteristic to respect the use of water resources. The 3 filling lines have a production capacity of 402 million liters per year. The operation is located in a 217 hectares piece of land, 15% of which is destined for preservation.

A milestone in this project was the recovery of the dam located in the land, which has a capacity of 156,000 cubic meters. It was completely cleaned by extracting 37,000 tons of waste. It should be clarified that all the recovery of the dam complied with the new safety regulations of the State Institute of the Environment (INEA for its acronym in Portuguese).

The project gives great importance to the Taquara river, protecting the entire riverbank that is in our area, so we developed rainwater delay barrels mitigating the impacts on the river bed. In addition, we recovered 320 cubic meters of rainwater.

The effluent treatment station, which has a capacity of 48 cubic meters per hour, ends with an osmosis process that allows the reuse of water delivering 15 cubic meters per hour.

We are proud to have one of the best plants in Latin America and this is the horizon that shows us the best practices both in process and in the care of the environment.
